Dan Izzard’s painting “Winter Sun” takes me right back to my first visit to Venice. As my eye’s sweep from the cold sunlight gleaming off the tops of the buildings to the darkness of the canal shimmering in the shadows, I can feel all the mystery and charm of this ancient city. Every time I walk by this work, I stop, breathe in the atmosphere of Venice, and I am there.
